Well This Is a New One…
It seems as if the Tank Express has picked up a few more passengers as this truncated NBA season winds down.
Last night in a tight game against the Hornets, the Warriors found themselves with three chances to win the game. They failed to capitalize on all three attempts and lost the game on a (get this) last second goaltend by rookie Chris Wright.
While the goal tend itself was a bizarre call, the most interesting/hilarious moment came when the fans began to chant, “Let’s go Hornets!” in the last minute of the game. The Warrior fans seemingly turned on their home team like a WWE wrestler unexpectedly turning on his tag team partner.
We here at Bay Area Ball have been fully endorsing the Tank Express and are glad to see that the fans are starting to catch on.
Of course the Warriors chances of keeping their draft pick this year will likely come down to a tie-breaker (which has been mapped out by CSN Bay Area’s Matt Steinmetz) and knowing the cursed history of the Warriors, they probably won’t end up with the seventh most ping pong balls in the lottery.
Everyone start practicing your “Let’s go Spurs!” chants for this Thursday.
