That's where I'm at. Sabean went out and got the best hitter available to give the team a shot. But he's not who I want to bet the bank on.

Keep the pitchers. Maybe we overpaid some for Affeldt and Lopez, but they proved what they add to the team and they are short term deals. If things really go south, either of them could be traded for some very good prospects. (I doubt that happens.) Huff was already here, he has one year left, if Belt outplays him, he sits or is moved. If Belt doesn't outplay him and neither of them produce, Huff goes and they pick up someone mid-year, a'la Burrell. It's not like the only key moves that help a team are made in the offseason. Why pay mega-bucks to one player who really isn't the answer and by doing so you give up integral players?
