One World Series win gets them a wad of cash. That goes to the bank. They know that the chances of winning another series is slim. They don't want to gamble their money. It's the anti-Cuban way. Plus these owners are mostly mid level millionaire people (10 million to 50 million). If you had one or two owners that are 500 million or billionaire's it's a different story.
