those 2 NL clubs you're referring to are not in the NL West.. The Snakes made a good trade today picking up Trevor Cahill.. Their pitching staff is getting closer to matching up to the Giants.. Can the Giants over take them in 2012? I think getting hot in the postseason is important no matter how good your won/loss record is. Everybody was predicting the powerful Phillies in the WS before the post season started and the redhot cardinals defeated them in the 2011 NLDS.
