I'm not that thrilled about the Pagan trade. The Mets got their reliever. But Pagan is not a great center fielder. And the Mets beat writer
wrote that he was "highly unpopular in the clubhouse." I worry about whether there are enough veteran position players to keep him in line, if he is a problem. Burrell was probably the strongest leader, and he's gone. Uribe had played a big role with the Latin players, and Renteria as well. There is no one like that on the team that I can see. I'm hoping I'm wrong, but I don't have a good feeling about this.
