That being said, If Crawford should beat out Gonzalez for the starting SS position if the rumors are true. The fact is the Giants do not a viable options to back up Crawford. Defensively, you shouldn't lose much with either. Offensively, let's just say both will be hitting in the bottom of the lineup and nowhere else.
