I like Fatty, but he wants too much money to become our home run king. We can get Reyes for cheaper and he'll still be our best hitter.

Reyes won't hit a lot of homers, but he'll provide a lot of speed at the top of the order and defense up the middle. Reyes is better defensively than Fielder. He hasn't won a gold glove yet, but he's good enough that he could win one.
