The good news is that with Huff and Rowand off the books next year, it starts to ease up. The pitching will be expensive, but it already is fairly expensive so the annual jump won't hurt as bad and year after next we can hope for Gary Brown in center and the Zito money being used on players who can play. Or one who plays really well.
