from a Macro perspective, this is all about growth w/out actual team expansion.
More teams in the PO's and more overall PO gms= more $.
It's a muted victory, but if the no-win choice is between expansion and a one gm tweak to the PO system...then I'll take it.
My preference for them to expand the Divisional series instead of the extra WildCard team is really more about trying to avoid contributing to that "crap shoot" label of the PO's.
Just don't like the increased prospects of an 84 win team winning the WS.
