I'm hoping that Beltran's asking price is lowering as he's not finding bites in the higher price range/years. if you can sign him for 2 maybe 3 years, I'd feel a lot better about this year. Barring injuries you'd have:

-full year of Beltran, Cabrera, Posey, and Sanchez. That's half your lineup right there.

-you have to figure that Huff is going to have at least somewhat of a bounce back year...but I hope it's in the outfield, as i'd like to see Belt get a real shot at first.

-then give SS to the kid. it'll still be a hole potentially on offense, but having that defensive presence up the middle will be huge for a full year.

Whether it's Beltran or not, we really gotta get one more bat...
