Long term contracts and big numbers, both. Lozano wants to get Pujols the record annual pay and Fielder is represented by Boras.
Now maybe they don't get what they want, but I think they're actually pretty high risk. One scout made an interesting point about how you can look to Cecil Fielder's career to see some serious tailing off after age 30. I don't know how valid that is, but they do have similar bodies. And few other guys mentioned that they would never sign Fielder to seven years because of his body unless they were with an AL team.
And since we don't have a hitters park, and we're not a place they've played before, we'd have to outbid some pretty high offers to have a chance. I'm just against putting that much of the payroll on one guy for a long time.
