If you think of his salary going towards the window of opportunity instead of just 2012. He would anchor the Giants IF and move Huff to LF and give the Giants four OFs -- Schierholtz RF, Cabrera CF, and Huff/Belt LF. Rowands' salary comes off in 2013 and Zito's in 2014, so the Giants will be in the red for about two years.
