Rowand was coming off a career year when we got him from the Phillies too.
I'm not real hopeful that this guy will be that much of an upgrade over Torres - doesn't get on base enough and it wouldn't be a shock to see his SLG dip down into the low 400 range.
Reminds me of a cheaper Rowand
