With Vogelsong's success in 2012 being no certainty, Zito's baggage, and Surkamp's inability to show much hope he's close to being ready, we could be looking at a major hole with the 5th and possibly 4th starter.

Sanchez has his issues but he's a hell of an option at the back end of the rotation. Seems people forget the kind of shit pitchers teams are forced to trot out every 4th and 5th game.

Anyways, I hope Melky's success last year wasn't an aberration and continues some sort of consistency. But I won't hold my breathe.
