I should plan better, but the last two crucial WS Giants games my ex-wife or gf had planned to go to a restaurant for dinner. In 2002, I went with my family to some Chinese place in San Mateo and was thinking the Giants were going to win game 6 because they had the lead. We had a nice dinner, and then I get in the car, wait to turn on the radio, and then finally found out they lost. Gloom. I knew something was wrong because while driving to the Bayshore freeway, I did not hear any honking or noise and the game was over. It game me a bad feeling in my stomach. I paused before turning on the radio to confirm my suspicions.

In 2010, my gf planned the night weeks ahead of time, so I had to go. However, I didn't know what was going to happen. We got in and out of the restaurant early and I got home in time to see the Giants win it all. We could have stayed in San Francisco and watched the game from the restaurant or someplace, but I thought it was better to get home ASAP. I didn't know what to expect, so it was a surprise to see the Giants win. I watched all the pandemonium on the TV.

I think I used to be more a Warriors fan, and went to mostly Warriors games with a couple of buddies, but if I make a good friend who likes to go to Giants games, then I'll gladly do that. It seems I lost all my contacts who had season tixs at AT&T.
