if he were looking at a 1yr "make-good" deal, to boost his value.. SF isn't exactly the place you go to enhance your offensive/defensive stature. As mentioned already, CF is huge, particularly w/ Triples Alley and it's cold, both not a recipy for rehabbing balky knees. Also, he wouldn't be able to DH occaisonally either, to rest the joints..
Coco, Rollins and Sizemore are the likeliest leadoff/positional fit candidates, so what say you Sabes??
As a fan, it would be nice to see the G's go after a 29 y.o. w/ upside vs. a Mike Cameron type. 1yr at $6M w/ a team option, sounds like it might be enough, to keep him out of BOS, CHI, PHI, LAA?..
Not sure why Sizemore would want to come to SF..
