Final four teams were 10th, 11th, 13th, and 17th in salary this year. Four first round losers were 1st, 2nd, 25th, and 29th. STL and Texas salaries together don't add up to what the Yankees spent.
Skontch was the only one of us to have either of the final two teams right. I had both STL and Texas losing in the first round.
Goes to show how unpredictable baseball is, despite the unbalanced payrolls
