My name is Jordan Ramirez aka J-RAM as you’ll get to know me as. I’m just living the dream. Graduated from Bellarmine in 09′ and currently major in Journalism at San Jose State University. Sports is my life. Whether its watching, listening, reading or playing sports I can never get enough. My favorite artist is Kanye West. My favorite movie is Pulp Fiction (What was in that briefcase?) followed by Space Jam (best soundtrack ever). Avid Lebron defender. Even more avid Dodgers hater. In addition to BAYAREABALL I’m also a contributor to warriorsworld.net and founder of fogtownsports.blogspot.com. Get at me.

After growing up in the Bay Area I (or RoneFace, or Aaron, whatever you want to do) spent 11 years in Boston, staying up until 1am to keep up with the Giants, Sharks, and sometimes the Warriors but never the A’s because who cares about them. Is that a sign of passion? Dedication? Insanity? We ask, YOU decide.

Ben was born in San Jose, California. At the tender age of 3, he moved to Mississauga, Ontario, Canada (a suburb 30 minutes away from Toronto) with his family. His first sports memory came at the age of 5 as he watched Michael Jordan’s Bulls topple the Portland Trailblazers in the 1992 finals. At the age of 14, he moved with his family back to the Bay Area and immediately engulfed himself in the sports scene. He currently writes for KNBR.com and is a recovering shoe-aholic. He doesn’t expect to recover from that condition any time soon.

Writer/Video & Audio Editor/Producer
Started the local sports blog: TheBayAreaSportsReport.com in 2010. Produce & edit The Bay Area Sports Report Podcast. I have also written some guest pieces for AthleticsAfterDark.com, Warriorsworld.net, & covered the Warriors for my own site.
A rabid fan of the Oakland A’s, Oakland Raiders, and Golden State Warriors.
I’m all for loving your team and being a die-hard fan but don’t ever let that cloud your judgment to what’s really going on because Fandom is a terrible thing to waste.

“Hailing from Redwood City, I graduated UC Santa Barbara in 2010 majoring in Business Economics and a double minor in Sports Management and #BeatLA. I’ve become known as the blogger Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now. You can find some of my previous work over at CandlestickConscience.com where I religiously obsess and vent over my San Francisco Giants and 49ers. But don’t get it twisted, I’m an unbiased sports junkie with countless fantasy football/baseball championship belts. You can Tweet me @BaySean. Come at me, bro.”
